Maybe that is why most bosses do not like to join such 'risky' activities?

This is a remake of my old comic in my main blog. It was quite popular back then. Thus, the remake. Anyway….ever feel like doing this when there’s a newcomer in your office? I must admit… it’s very tempting

Maybe that is why most meetings end without any solution……but with plenty of nonsense stuff

Sometimes, one just needs to have the initiatives to be busy in a workplace

There are times when we have to go through off-peak periods in the workplace (er…for some companies, the ‘times’ can be MOST OF THE TIME). It’s really up to us to find some useful and beneficial stuff to do. Things like Facebook and Youtube can be quite useful, if you know how to use them in the right way.

…which brings to the next statement – companies should not block them.

This is based on a true story experienced by a friend of mine (the final scene did not happen though)

The above is a slightly modified version of what my friend has experienced few years ago. One of his bosses told the team to stop working and invited them to a famous Chinese restaurant for dinner. He ordered a lot of nice and expensive food and my friend and his teammates were so happy. Unfortunately, before they have even finished with the food, the boss left in a hurry and they have to foot for the bill themselves.

Oh ya, and the project failed after that. The employees were too demotivated to work!

Another reason why conference call should be done during office hour

In the past, I’ve had funny experiences during conference calls with other people from other countries – baby crying “papa papa, i want milk”, cats meowing, cars honking, etc. Actually quite distracting when you’re in the midst of discussing some serious issues. Perhaps should learn not to have conference calls after office hour and definitely not from home……unless they can mute their phones

p/s…. i am considering posting on Mondays instead of Sundays. Still thinking.
